Problem

Many students may have a limited understanding of the benefits and diversity of options in higher education. This can affect lifelong career development and trajectory.

Goals

  • Dispel the myths around college opportunities, feasibility, and attendance. We will explain the pros and cons of entering college, inform students on the realities of different careers and explain the pathways that lead to them.

  • Explain how to navigate college life in order to access helpful resources, build relationships with professors, and maneuver college environments.

  • Educate students on college admissions strategies as well as the benefits of attending different types of colleges.

  • Explain the different ways to fund a college education and the scholarships, grants, loans and other creative financing that is available.
